Posted - 04/14/2009 : 22:44:10 I haven't hear that one yet Joe but I would believe it since this year most stockers now need pants (3.2a/1). And just a couple years ago stockers and superstockers could go nines with out pants, gloves etc
Unfortunately those with the least amount of common sense are unaware of their lack of it |

Posted - 04/14/2009 : 22:32:42 Let's not forget to mention NHRA's latest money making scam entering into the world of textiles. Next year, and I hope I'm wrong on this, ALL drivers 13.49 and faster need to wear SFI pants. GIVE ME A BREAK! I'll need help with the math on this one but that's a hell of a lot of pants they'll be selling.

Posted - 04/14/2009 : 21:18:50 Just look on Class Racer. Everyone has their ideas about how NHRA can keep costs down. Unfortunately, the people on the NHRA board only think about fattening their wallets instead of watching out for joe sportsman racer. They figure they will lose a few members and entries to the price increase, but in the end they will make more money. |

Posted - 04/14/2009 : 20:53:02 true Andy, but i thought the post was about ways NHRA could reduce its costs, so we can afford to be members.

Posted - 04/14/2009 : 13:58:22 You have to be a member of NHRA to race at the ET finals. If you wanted to go the cheap way, I'm sure you can race at Rock Falls all year without a permanent number so you really don't have to pay anything. |

Posted - 04/14/2009 : 07:46:22 more to the point, if you could join for half the price but not get that rag would you? i would.
there is nothing there that can't be seen on the web for free.
it seems like i did a bad job of going incognito Lee.
i thought the mopar reference would be enough

Posted - 04/12/2009 : 23:26:47 Really?? I find the National Dragster interesting. I have read many articles that were very informative and interesting. I can recall many different articles that were written by Fletcher, Langdon, and other sportsman racers.I also think it's fun to read about the winners (even though they're same all the time). |

Posted - 04/12/2009 : 07:38:44 maybe the cost would go down if we did not have to subscribe to John Force weekly (National Dragster)
that thing is the biggest waist of trees and postage i have ever read.
with the internet, it tells us nothing we could not find out in a minute online.

It was very lucky that my brother and dad stuck their license renewals in the mail earlier this week!
