I thought it would be helpful to myself if I could start a post where fellow racers could tell me things about themselves, such as weak points in there driving ability's, superstitions, little things that bug the crap out of them and interfere with there concentration when they pull up to the starting line, all this would be very helpful for me in my quest to be the most domineering driver at the track,,,so post away, I'll be waiting to here from you,Thanks and Have a Nice Day!

I hate being double-bulbed when staging. Don't EVER do that to me! Every time someone does that, goofy things happen. I find myself to be out of the groove, my shifter gets jammed, carburetor keeps loading up...

Since you're here Steve, I hate when I go .0009 on the tree but another guy "trees my azz" with a .0008 to get the bye run!

This is all very helpful information, so if I'm understanding you guy's correctly,,,,Double Bulb Tony,,,,,Cut a .OOO lite and run right on against Steve,,,Leave a Banana at Dave's trailer when I sign in,,,but I am confused on 2 things,,,what's the deal with the wrench? And Jason who was that 3rd driver in your car at the Creek? Oh and I told Dan Carlson about the girls all around your car at the Creek,,,and he said that car always was a Chick Magnet even when he owned it!!

Wrench story: Steve, Jason, my brother, and I were racing at Bunker Hill, Indiana a month ago and 2nd round on Sunday the red Nova started going HARD left when I got on the brakes. Won a couple scary rounds before we found a control arm bolt that had lost it's nut. We found a nut that worked but needed some alignment shims since they had all fallen out. Only had a few minutes; Steve had the idea to use the open end of a wrench, so we stuck a 5/8 wrench in the gap and tightened the nut.

I had the car properly aligned earlier this week, and it turned out the wrench was within a 1/32" shim of perfect!

Speaking of the chick-magnet Nova - if you ever want to know anything about a woman at a dragstrip, Jason is your man!

Well I've got to say thanks for the endorsement Tony, your brother helped some at Indiana. The third driver of my car in Grove Creek was Trevor Larson, who at the time was the number 3 driver in the National Super Gas standings(still top ten). Also, I'd like to take credit for the ladies around the chick-magnet Nova at the Creek, but they were with my drivers.

Jason, you almost sound like Don Schumacher, except he has a different car for all his drivers, they don't have to drive the same one!!!Maybe your workin' on that!!
