Between 5 and 6am this morning I got a call from Ken Drevnick. At 5am this morning he was informed that his son and our friend Dan had been killed in Iraq.
I spent all day thinking of anyone that needed to hear the news other than this informal method. I hope that everyone has heard before they see it here.
As I am entering this they are talking about the 3 that were killed on the news.
I will keep this forum updated with any details of the funeral. It will be about a week.
Keep all in your thoughts and Prayers.

Last nite I read a news release that Governor Pawlenty ordered that all U.S.and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at the Capital Complex and other State Building and Monument Grounds today for Daniel P. Drevnick and tomorrow for James D. Wertish,,,after lowering my Flag this morning I started to think no matter how sad this Day is,,,It is a Celebration of Dan's Life!I need to go now and help Celebrate on this sad day. Take Care,Joe
