We heard that the Rock ran but not sure on the winners. Down in Byron, everyone was making record passes with the best 60' of the year! Who says that cold weather makes a track not hook? The vega, which normally has a 1.480-1.530 at brainerd and the rock, had a 1.439 this weekend and talk about consistent. I had the same 60' on 4 out of 5 runs on Saturday and Steve Stockton had the same 60' on 7 out of 8 I believe on Sunday. Gary Loeffelholz had a 1.039 60' and went 7.40 on Saturday morning. He then made it to the final of the $4,000 race where they had to split because it was dark. He was on fire all weekend running "RIGHT ON EVERY TIME" and got beat by a .001 package on Sunday. Steve and myself made it down to 4 cars in the no box side on Sunday.
there was a race on sunday, not sure who won but the track was hooking like never before, if they prepped the starting line like that every race, i would think the car counts would probably double.
