No, I meant what I said. I like my torque converters to stall higher than the RPM at which Davey's motor made peak HP. Which only means that I find his engine's RPM range to be very low, which also means nothing. Just an observation.

Tony thats because its a pontiac. dont want to spin them that high. my poncho made 550-630 hp between 5000-6000 which was perfect to keep rpms low.

Do these Pontiacs run on gasoline or diesel?

WOW!! Nice to see my Pontiac has drawn so much interest.
Less is more Pontiacs are all torque.
I drove a 9 second car and did not feel the hard pull mine does.
I struggle with consistency where it seems like the Chevy's run dead on most of the time. I hope this new combo helps in that dept.
1 week till testing, then I will post the results.

Remember RACECAR spelled backwards still spells RACECAR

Lets go Racing boy's

All torque, LOL! Torque is the only unit of power that can be measured, so if the HP numbers are low it just means the engine won't continue to make torque for many RPM.

As for consistency, like I always told a recently-retired racing buddy of mine, "The problem is that extra gear in your transmission!"

Tony I think Dave went to a glide last year (hence the bop trans thread) so you want a direct drive

ps I hope you switched to cereal with that wait for the website. I texted Bill @ 10:00 asked him not to make a liar of me which he didn't do. He had over 2 hours for our west coast friends

How about playing a little "pass time" with Davey's car? Anybody want to predict what he will run on test day?
